How Program Operates

  • Participants are transported from local schools in the Brandywine,  Camp Springs, Clinton, Forestville, Fort Washington, Morningside, Southern Upper Marlboro, and Temple Hills area to our B&B facility.

  • Our program is divided into two sessions.  Blackboards (academic) and Backboards (basketball).

  • Upon arrival, participants will be dismissed to their session depending on their schedule, which is adjusted bi-weekly.

  • After daily academic and athletic workouts, there will be free play until 6:00pm.

Blackboards’ Program Description

The purpose of the Blackboard component is to assist student-athletes in becoming critical thinkers, as well as independent, self-reflective, life-long learners.  Our goal is to have all students’ homework complete and accurate before their parent arrives.  During homework time, students are instructed to remain silent in order to create an academic study environment.  Students are encouraged to work cooperatively towards the end of homework time to help check each other’s work or study together.

  • Leadership

  • Agility and Conditioning

  • Position Specific Training

  • Discipline

  • Overall Player Development
